Digitally Printed Fabric

Today we were given the opportunity to digitally print our designs onto fabric using the Mimaki printer. We took our designs and saved them as a Tif. Luckily this design i choose was on photoshop because you can’t save Illustrator files as a Tif. We then saved it onto a memory stick and used the computer next to the printer to attach our designs. The colours do change when it is printed. However, once printed the fabric then need to bee steamed and washed to present the full colours. This final image is what the design looks like after being washed, not yet steamed.
