Today during Lucy’s workshop she introduced to us the idea of Pecha Kucha, this is a presentation with 20 slides, playing for 20 seconds each making it 6 minutes long where you represent your ideas chronologically. For next Monday we have been asked to create our own Pecha Kucha but with only 10 slides for 20 seconds each. This is the video she showed us explaining how to get started.
After watching a few Youtube clips i found a website where i could actually watch other peoples Pecha Kucha presentations. This helped me get ideas of how to design my slides and what i was going to say. I normally talk really fast so during my presentation I am really going to try slow down and get the important bits said. Look at the link below:
Although her presentation will be very different to mine, it flows nicely and the slides move with what she’s saying which is nice.
