My name is Tori Grace Coleman and I am a second year textiles student, studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I’ve always been really passionate about urban exploring which consists of exploring man made structures, usually abandoned ruins which are unseen to the public. Much of my work is inspired by this and worldwide architecture. As you can see I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world, especially during this past year. During the first term of this year I got the chance to travel to Beijing, China, where I studied fashion for three months at Beijing’s Institute of Fashion and Technology. This time spent in China really opened my eyes to the world of fashion, and I hope that my future studies involve more fashion then my current course. This year, I have been very experimental with new interesting fabrics including plastics and PVC, but also I have continued to develop my fashion illustration skills working on futuristic designs focussing on what some could suggest as fetish wear.
Here are a few of my favourite photo’s taken during my travels just this year.
